Motivation and CommunicationMotivation and Communication by RockstarVanity
Before I get started, I'd like to make it clear that this article is made up of my own thoughts, my own opinions. I hope that some of you read this and it sparks a little internal dialogue, but I'm not expecting that on any great level. It may spark a little external dialogue too, and that's fine. You don't have to agree with me and I would never expect everyone to agree with everything (or anything) I say. Not seeking critique?
When you come across a piece of work that the artist hasn't enabled the Critique option for, do you leave a critique anyway knowing that it will not be welcomed? If so, why?

How can I help?
You don't have to be a Gallery Moderator or have a fancy symbol next to your name to promote and support artists within your favourite gallery. The suggestions listed below are for everyone, and if you want something a little more useful than just my ideas, don't forget to pay a visit to the Help & FAQ section of dA - you'll find a link at the bottom of every single page.
To avoid repeating myself, I'd like to point you in the direction of a tutorial called Promoting other people's art [ http://rockstarvanity.deviantart.com/art/Promoting-Other-People-s-Art-174149972 ] which contains information about...
